Morgan was a spunky, active seven-year-old living like most girls her age, except for one distinct difference: Morgan had terminal cancer.

In between dance recitals and sporting events, Morgan endured many procedures to treat her Neuroblastoma, the childhood cancer that raged inside her.

This story was read to Morgan on Christmas Eve, less than two weeks before her death.  It was written with the intention of bringing peace and truth to a family seeking answers during this troubling time.

It is a story about the journey of life, and the experiences we create to grow our love.  Morgan’s story is no different than our own.  It is a metaphor for us all, telling us to live our life to the fullest, regardless of what is on our list.

David’s House offered a safe and nurturing refuge for Morgan and her family during their visits to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.  The kid-friendly atmosphere and accommodating nature of David’s House provided a home away from home when outpatient visits were needed and the hour and a half commute to the hospital would be too taxing for Morgan.  We are happy to support David’s House with a portion of the proceeds of this book.  To learn more about David’s House, click here: Davids House
